How to Send a Proposal to a Prospect

  1. Confirm Contact Info

    • Ensure the contact exists and has title, company name, and address updated.

  2. Open the Contact

    • Go to Contacts, search for and select the desired contact.

  3. Start a Proposal

    • Click Send Document (bottom right).

  4. Select Template

    • Choose from My Templates (e.g., “Inspection and Maintenance”).

    • Click Add One Item.

  5. Customize Document Name

    • Update the proposal title (e.g., “Inspection and Maintenance Proposal for [Name]”).

    • Click Continue.

  6. Review & Edit Proposal Details

    • Yellow-highlighted fields auto-fill from contact and company info.

    • Optionally upload or delete a logo.

    • Remove or edit any unnecessary info.

    • Add quick snippets from the content library (if applicable).

  7. Add Products

    • Click Products and select items from the list.

    • Adjust prices, quantities, or delete items as needed.

    • Optionally add a discount (flat or %).

    • Add custom line items if needed.

  8. Send Proposal

    • Click Send (via email and/or SMS).

    • The system tracks the proposal after sending.
